Coral - Google's Artificial Intelligence Platform
Author: Shazin Sadakath
Google has promised to release a hardware platform to perform Artificial Intelligence easily and it has delivered. Meet Google Coral, an all in one single board computer which is very similar to a Raspberry Pi but way more computationally mature.
The purpose of this product is to enable embedded AI and Deep learning projects to the masses. With Google's already mature and capable AI Framework Tensorflow running on this hardware platform can support AI and Deep learning at the edge level which can be ideal for many applications such as self driving cars, robots, etc.
